Its Risks and Resilience Fund pools donations for global catastrophic risk reduction (including AI alignment) and allocates them quarterly to grantmakers and evaluators its research team has assessed; it does not make grants to applicants directly. Payouts historically went half to the Long-Term Future Fund and half to Longview's Emerging Challenges Fund, both of which have announced they are closing; as of late 2026 GWWC is re-evaluating where the fund goes (wider evaluations planned for early 2027) and may hold donations made from October until then.
Says it has given about $500M in total
